How to reach the Valencian Autonomous Community

If you are coming by road the basic route to follow is the A-7 motorway or the N-340 national route, both of which run parallel to the coast.

Information on the CEAM-EUPHORE centre

The Fundación CEAM was created in 1991 under the auspices of the Valencian Autonomous Government and Bancaixa, with the endorsement of the Secretariat of State for Universities and Research and the European Commission. It is a centre of Applied Research.

CEAM was created as a response to the need for potentiating research and development in environmental technology in the Mediterranean countries. The principal objective of CEAM is to obtain data and formulate results on specific problems in the Mediterranean Basin for the purpose of improving the managerial capacity of Spain and of the Valencian Autonomy, within the European Union.

The EUropean PHOtoREactor EUPHORE was designed and constructed by a consortium of 7 research institutes to provide European atmospheric scientists with a technically advanced outdoor simulation chamber to tackle the serious environmental problems related to the chemistry of phootoxidant formation in the troposhere. Its contruction was completed in 1995.
